We are one of only a few Level 3 Supported Accommodation providers in the Townsville region!

Cockatoo Lodge Townsville (or CLT), is a fully accredited supported accommodation share facility. We take pride in exceeding the highest accreditation for Level 3, providing quality support for residents in a professional, caring, positive home environment where residents feel empowered.

Individual care and coordination assistance is provided to all residents one-on-one by qualified nursing and support staff. We recognise each individual has different support needs and facilitate each resident with self-determination.

Accommodation can either be short term for those in a transition phase, or long term for those looking for a safe and stable place to call home. For those who shouldn't or can't live on their own.

 

Our Supported Accommodation suits people with disabilities who have an NDIS package and wish to live independently. You do not need to have approved NDIS SIL Funding to reside at CLT. Shared supports can be funded by your NDIS CORE Funding, as this is for flexible use.

 

Your Community Access service provider can assist you to access the community while you reside at CLT.

You do not need to have SDA funding in your NDIS Package to reside at Cocaktoo Lodge Townsville.

We cater for both men and women. Ladies reside in a dedicated women's area. We have low mobility access rooms for people who use wheelchairs and wheelie walkers on ground floor.

​

The lodge is staffed every day and overnight 24/7 by 2 staff.

We are conveniently centrally located in Aitkenvale close (walking distance) to numerous services such as:
